Citizens' festival for the opening of the 43 MW Günthersdorf II wind farm near Berlin

After 14 years of planning and construction, NOTUS energy officially inaugurated the Günthersdorf II wind farm southeast of Berlin on 19 June 2022.

Around 300 people from the surrounding communities and local politicians celebrated the launch with helicopter flights over the wind farm and Lower Lusatia. The 12 turbines benefit landowners, nature conservation and also firefighting in the region, which is particularly at risk from drought.
