"NOTUS is open to partnerships with communities and other businesses."

NOTUS energy will present its new partnership offensive in France at the National Wind Energy Symposium 2019 on 16 and 17 October in Paris.

The country is an important market for NOTUS: in recent years, the project pipeline in France has grown to almost 700 megawatts of wind power.

"We are optimistic about the French wind energy market," explains Heinrich Lieser, President NOTUS énergie France in Paris. With an installed capacity of 523 megawatts (MW) in the first half of 2019, France led the statistics for the installation of windpower in Europe for the first time. "France is currently leading the way in wind energy in Europe. And we believe that the government in Paris will continue to drive this expansion forward," Lieser said.

The joint venture between the Notus Group in Germany and the French fund company Omnes Capital now has 694 MW of wind and PV projects under development in France. The projects are distributed throughout the country in various regions of France. These are in detail:

Hauts-de-France: 83 MW
Grand-Est: 190 MW
Bourgogne-Franche-Comté: 18 MW
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes: 42 MW
Nouvelle-Aquitaine: 141 MW
Pays de la Loire: 93 MW
Centre-Val de Loire: 45 MW Wind
Normandie: 55 MW
Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur:27 MW

"We are very interested in entering into further partnerships with other developers, with municipalities and with local authorities," said Lieser. The cooperation with Omnes Capital, a financially strong fund company, also makes it possible to fully take over solar and wind farms in all phases of the planning process.
