Successful wind energy tender: NOTUS energy wins 43 megawatts in Brandenburg and NRW
NOTUS energy has been awarded contracts for the operation of eight wind turbines with a capacity of 42.6 megawatts in the latest tender of the German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA). The three wind farms are located in Brandenburg and North Rhine-Westphalia. They include a repowering project south of Berlin, where seven old turbines will be replaced by four new ones.
In Brandenburg, NOTUS energy can now finalize the planning for a Vestas V150 / 6 MW in the Dachsberg wind farm, which is expected to be operational in the summer of 2025. Six turbines are already under construction at the wind farm near the Werder motorway junction.
At the Waldow wind farm in the Dahme-Spreewald district south of Berlin, repowering will continue. Seven more old turbines will be replaced by four new turbines at the 20-year-old wind farm. This will significantly reduce the number of wind turbines while increasing the installed capacity from
14 MW to 24.6 MW. The turbines - including three 6.2 MW Vestas V162 - are expected to be connected to the grid for the first time in 2025. NOTUS energy is carrying out the repowering in cooperation with Nextwind (Berlin).
Two Vestas V150 turbines with a total capacity of 12 MW will be erected in Rommerskirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia, in the district of Düsseldorf. The turbines will be commissioned in 2025.
NOTUS energy uses only the latest generation of wind turbines.
