Construction of Nine Nordex Wind Turbines Begins in France

On August 24, 2020, construction work commenced on the wind farm in France, which will comprise 9 N100/2500 Nordex wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 22.5 MW.

Commissioning is scheduled for summer 2021.

This is the first French project that NOTUS energy will have fully developed and built on its own.

Heinrich Lieser, President of NOTUS énergie France, is elated about the start of this project: "This is a project we have been working on for several years and we are delighted to finally see the first construction machines on the site. This project anchors the NOTUS energy group on French territory and marks an important date in the development of our company. We are developing numerous wind power projects throughout France and this wind farm will serve as a concrete example."

Work has begun on the installation of the underground electricity networks and will continue with the construction of the access roads and foundations. The construction of the foundations will be completed in 2020 and erection of the wind turbines will take place in the spring of 2021.
